Job Description:

Our client has recently completed an extensive refurbishment of their dealership whilst maintaining their industry-leading business.   Their customer service standard is second to none providing only the best service to their existing and growing client base.   In house, they also ensure that staff work as a team and share the success of the company.  They are known for their support, training and coaching.

Although there are opportunities for career progression for interested applicants, this is a well-established and stable team with numerous team members with over 20 years experience at the company.  One major contributing factor to the this team being a stable and enjoyable one is the Parts Manager (who you will report to) open door policy.  He has extensive industry and management experience and as a result provides supportive training and coaching to his team and expects quality in return.

As the Parts Interpreter, it will be your responsibility to ensure that you deliver the level of service to the team that our client expects.  To be considered for this position it is essential that you have the following:

  • Excellent team work skills
  • Experience as a parts interpreter – preferably with Toyota, Mitsubishi and / or Audi
  • Be highly organised
  • Great communication skills
  • Parts interpreting experience
  • Able to observe and implement
  • Have the passion and drive to succeed
  • Team player
  • Stable work history with job longevity in previous roles

The role’s hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm as well as a rotating roster on Saturday 8am to 12pm.  Specifically, your role will NOT have you working with panel beaters which is unusual for a role like this but we believe is a huge advantage to progressing your career in a professional company.

The position would ideally suit a person who wishes to advance their career in a forward thinking progressive dealership.  The successful person will be trained or up skilled during their time in this role so as to progress and further their career within the company as so many others in various departments of the company have done.

Desirable (but not essential) experience/qualifications/skills:

  • Audi/Toyota/Mitsubishi experience
  • Time Management skills
  • Ability to see things from the other person’s point of view
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team
  • Ability to prioritise quickly
  • Confident decision-making skills
  • Methodical
